About this place
Upon taking a seat, guests are first greeted with a warm cup of consommé served alongside light snacks. Located on the 7th floor of a building in Ginza 7-chome, Mori Bar offers this soothing opening sip as a gentle prelude before turning to serious cocktails.
Any visit naturally turns attention toward the signature Mōri Martini. Crafted before you with fluid, practiced motions, the drink releases a poised fragrance the moment it arrives, delivering a crisp and impeccably structured taste. Guests can also enjoy variations across different spirits, such as the rum-based Havana Martini with soft citrus accents or the crystalline Ten Martini.
Beyond strong short cocktails, the bar prepares a diverse range of drinks with refined technique, including a zesty, ginger-forward Moscow Mule, a milk-infused Kaikan Fizz, and fresh fruit cocktails highlighting seasonal strawberry. Leafing through the cocktail book in search of the next drink is one of the distinct pleasures here.
Food served alongside the glasses includes fresh chocolate meant to accompany the Havana Martini, as well as bar staples like plump olives, prosciutto, smoked duck breast, and assorted cheese platters. Heartier dishes are also on offer when appetite calls, including grilled oil sardines with green onions, house special pizza, and toasted sandwiches.
The warm wood interior includes table seating alongside counter stools offering a close view of the bartending craft. Doors are open from Tuesday through Friday, from 16:00 until 1:30 the following morning, making it an ideal Ginza retreat for lingering over drinks after dinner.
